BRENTWOOD SERVICES’ KEITH FAWCETT EARNS ARE DESIGNATION
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., August 7, 1995––Keith Fawcett, CPCU, senior vice president of Brentwood Services Inc., has been awarded the professional insurance designation Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) by the Insurance Institute of America, according to Richard D. Hammer, president of Brentwood Services Inc.
The Insurance Institute of America, an independent, nonprofit educational organization, confers the ARe designation on persons who complete a four-course program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the reinsurance business, including loss reserving, reinsurance audits, statutory accounting, financial analysis, program design, and reinsurance contract wording and pricing.
At Brentwood Services, Fawcett is responsible for developing new business for the company's insurance brokerage operations, with a primary focus on excess insurance for self-insured organizations.
Prior to joining Brentwood Services, Fawcett was vice president of American Insurance Managers Inc., Atlanta, Ga., for six years. Previously, he was an account executive in the company's home office of Cayzer Steel Bowater International Ltd., in London, England. Fawcett now lives in Brentwood with his wife, Sylvia.
